How it works

From a shoebox of receipts to a statement ready to sign

No visits and no software to install. You send records, we send back the filled forms with a bank tie-out and our questions, and you and the candidate sign and file.

The six steps

  1. Fixed quote

Email the candidate's name, jurisdiction, office and a rough count of contributions and expenses. Within 2 business days we send a one-page quote with a fixed price.

  2. You send records

The records listed below, in any form. Half the price is due when you order. We ask follow-up questions by email.

  3. We prepare the forms

We fill in Form 4504300 and Form 4504301 and every other form your campaign needs, and tie every total to the campaign bank statements.

  4. You review

You get the filled forms as one PDF, the bank tie-out and a short list of questions. Your answers go in before anything is signed.

  5. Sign and file

The candidate and the financial agent sign the cover page. The agent files with Elections BC, online or by email, and keeps a copy.

  6. Second half

The other half is due on delivery. If Elections BC later asks for a supplementary report about something inside our work, we fix it free.

What you send us

  • Statements for every campaign account, from opening to today.
  • Receipts and invoices for every expense, with the dates each item was used.
  • Your record of contributions: name, residential address, date and value for each, the candidate's own included.
  • Loan papers, fundraising function records and any shared-expense agreements, if you had them.
  • Endorsed candidates: the campaign financing arrangement.

These follow the records Elections BC's guide tells financial agents to keep. Gaps are normal; we list what is missing and the simplest way to get it.

What you get back

  • The filled Elections BC forms as one PDF, ready for signatures.
  • A bank tie-out: deposits, withdrawals and balance against the summary form.
  • Checks against the 2026 contribution limit and your expense limit.
  • A list of judgment calls, with what we assumed and why, for you to decide.
  • Step-by-step filing notes, and the late date if you need it.

Prepared for your review and filing. We give no legal or accounting advice.

Doing it yourself? The free one-page checklist covers the records, the money checks, the forms in order and the filing steps.

Balance left, equal to the bank statement balance of November 30, 2026. It is repaid to the candidate, who gave the campaign $2,000 of their own money.

Checks we ran

  • Bank: deposits $5,800, payments $5,550, balance $250. Matches the summary.
  • Contributions: 14 givers under $100 ($735), 3 anonymous gifts of $50 or less ($90), 9 givers of $100 or more ($4,975, each listed on Form 4504303).
  • No giver above the 2026 limit of $1,429.70. The candidate's own $2,000 is inside the double limit an unendorsed candidate may give their own campaign.
  • Campaign period expenses of $4,910 against an expense limit of $8,140 (fictional).
  • Forms in the statement: 4504300, 4504301, 4504302, 4504303, 4504307 and 4504311. No loans, prohibited contributions, shared expenses, fundraising functions or former agents to report.

Questions for you before signing

  • Lawn signs bought September 10 went up on September 19, so their $2,150 is in the campaign period. Please confirm the date.
  • One giver's two e-transfers add up to $120, so they must be listed with a residential address. Your record has none yet.
  • The $250 balance goes back to the candidate first. Please confirm that is what the candidate wants.

Fictional figures. Every number in a real pack comes from your records, and every judgment call is yours to make.
